Red Oak Partners’ Investment Drives KV National Land Services Growth

A Harvard University graduate, J. Randall Waterfield has served as the chairman of the Waterfield Group since 1999. Recently, J. Randall “Randy” Waterfield joined Red Oak Partners, LLC’s board of directors.

For over 10 years, the hedge fund management firm Red Oak Partners has used its long- and short-term investment strategies to generate annual returns well above the market average. One of the firm’s most promising strategies in 2014 was its investment in New York-based Kensington Vanguard National Land Services, a large, independent, full‑service national title insurance agency. The capital infusion allowed KV National Land to expand into Dallas and to explore other avenues of expansion in Texas and Florida.

Additionally, KV National Land is looking into possible commercial real estate acquisitions in the Washington, D.C., area. With 55 percent of its business focused on commercial real estate title insurance, the company also acquired New Era Title and Clear to Close Settlement Services to help drive growth in its title insurance business in the northern Virginia area. An agent to the nation’s largest insurance underwriters, KV National Land has been recognized as a preferred title insurance provider by the American Association of Private Lenders.
